This collection of short stories from the popular author Sir Henry Rider Haggard (1856-1925) comprises 'Black Heart and White Heart', 'Elissa' and 'The Wizard&apos. The first two stories are set in Africa, while the third is a tale of faith which was first published in a Christmas annual. Haggard was an English author who specialised in adventure fiction set in exotic locations, primarily Africa. He was a pioneer of the lost world literary genre. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally fairly smart, though slightly faded to the spine with faint staining to the boards and a little bumping to the extremities.
