Bound without the frontispiece of H Giacomelli. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally with shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine. Back strip faded, gentle damp markings to boards. P 14-5; plate to face p. 133, p 143-4; p. 207-8; and occasional further leaf loose but present.
