Number 579 of 1250 copies printed on Van Gelder paper by Nonesuch Press in 1928. With Francis Meynell's (editor) foreword. Thomas Beedome died in c.1641 at what appeared to be a young age. His short volume of verses, Divine and Humane, was originally posthumously published in 1641, edited by dramatist and poet Henry Glapthorne. This work was his best and only known publication. Titles include, 'On a Lillie now withered in her bosome', and, 'Fooles Paradise, or Reason Bewitcht&apos. In the original publisher's paper vellum wraps.
