Folding chart to the frontispiece. James Lonsdale-Bryans (1893-1981) was a British writer and amateur diplomat. This work contains his thoughts on evolution, Christianity, sex and the fate of mankind.From the library of Desmond Morris, a zoologist best known for his 1967 sociobiological work "The Naked Ape". Alongside achieving great acclaim as a zoologist, Morris was also known for being an ethnologist and surrealist painter, and for popular television programmes, including "Zoo Time". In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is very bright and smart, with only light shelf wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned but clean. Dust wrapper is somewhat age toned, with faint marks to the rear of the wrap, and a little chipping to the head and tail of the spine and to the folds. Very Good . Ill.: Not Stated.
