Hostrup was a doctor, screenplay writer and actor who was an active figure in the Danish resistance, and friend to American science fiction writer Poul Anderson.With former owner's inscriptions to a front blank of each volume. In half morocco bindings with paper covered boards. A touch of fading to spines, with light rubbing to board perimeters. Head of rear hinge of 'Haldor' strained but firmly held.
