From the Library of Leon Bienvenu. With a stamp from the library and an ink inscription to the title page. The inscription reads, 'A Monsiuer Leon Bienvenu. Az Roussaye&apos. Léon-Charles Bienvenu, also known by his pen name Touchatour, was a French journalist and writer known for his searing satire of political and social life during the Second French Empire. A previous bookseller has tipped in a short description of the volume to the recto of the front endpaper. In a brown leather binding over patterned boards. Externally, very smart. Very lightly rubbed to the fore edge of the front board, and a little rubbed to the front joint. The front hinge is just beginning to start. Internally, firmly bound.
