Thomas Edwards (1739-1810), also known as Twm o'r Nant or Tom of the Dingle, was a Welsh dramatist, notable for his "anterliwtau" (interludes or short plays), which he performed in his native Denbighshire. These short plays often included social issues of his day, such as unpopular taxes, greedy landowners, and immoral clergymen. This work translates as 'Beacons of the World' or 'A Few Observations on the Course of the World, and the Corruption it contains&apos. The title page is a facsimile of the original, but the rest of the pages are the original 1826 printing. Rebound in a cloth binding. Externally, very bright and smart. Internally, firmly bound.
