The New Zealand born academic and headmaster received a doctorate of Law for this treatise. Prior owner's ink inscription to the front endpaper. The inscription reads 'Mr. D Saches. John Rhebon&apos. Rebound in a contemporary brown cloth binding. Externally, sound. Lightly rubbed to the boards. The spine is missing half a centimetre to the head of the spine, and is lightly bumped to the tail of the spine. There is a two-inch tear to the centre of the rear joint. The front hinge is starting, but firm, whilst the rear hinge is starting, and a little tender. Internally, generally firmly bound, although the gutter is visible between pages 24 and 25, 120 to 121, and 168 to 169. Pages are bright with light foxing throughout. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
