The Palace of Holyroodhouse, commonly referred to as Holyroodhouse, is the official Scottish residence of the British monarch. This is Charles Mackie's historical description of Holyroodhouse, illustrated with engravings; now uncommon to see. In the original pictorial boards. Externally, shelf wear to the boards and extremities, obscuring a little of the lettering to the front board. A couple of losses and horizontal tears to the spine. Front board is detached.
