The Palace of Holyroodhouse, commonly referred to as Holyroodhouse, is the official Scottish residence of the British monarch. This is Charles Mackie's historical description of Holyroodhouse, illustrated with engravings; now uncommon to see. In the original pictorial boards. Externally, shelf wear to the boards and extremities, obscuring a little of the lettering to the front board. A couple of losses and horizontal tears to the spine. Front board is detached. Rear board is tender but held by three cords. Front free end paper is coming loose but the rest of the pages are firmly bound. Pages are spotted throughout. Good Only . Ill.: Not Stated. Good Only .
