Notable contributors include Sir Walter Scott, William Wordsworth, Lord Byron, and Anna Letitia Barbauld among many others. Collated, complete with frontispiece and additional engraved title page.Armorial bookplate to front pastedown from Edward H Allen dated 1853.  In full diced calf binding with five raised bands, gilt tooling to spine, marbled edges and endpapers. Externally sound though with shelf wear. Missing the spine label, bumped and rubbed to head and tail of spine and extremities, back strip rubbed and faded. Internally, firmly bound. Light minor spotting affecting first and last few leaves only, pages otherwise bright and clean. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
