He is best known for editing 'The Art Journal&apos. His personality was much satirised, for being sanctimonious. In a full morocco binding. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing to the spine and extremities, and lighter rubbing to the boards. Minor marks to the boards and spine. Spine is a little faded. Tail of the rear board to the extremity is bumped and detaching. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some scattered spotting, and a tide mark to the tail of the text, larger to the first few pages. Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Good .
