Spines are a little discoloured. A small amount of loss to the head of the spine of Volumes I, II, IV, V, and VI. Some light marks to the boards and spines. A small amount of loss to the spine label of Volume I and III. Discolouration to the head of the rear board of Volume I. Small red mark to the front board of Volume II. Front joint of Volumes I, II and VI and the joints of Volume IV are cracked. Crack to the head of the rear joint of Volumes V and VI. Amaetaur repair to the rear joint of volume I. Front hinge of Volumes I, IV, and V are starting but firm. Hinges of Volume VI are starting but firm. Lacking the front endpaper of Volume III. Bookplate to the front paste downs, ink inscription to the recto of the front endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean with the occasional spot, spots heavier to the plates. Volume III is lacking the half-title and frontispiece. Ink inscription to the head of the title pages.
