In a half calf binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, smart, with very light rubbing to the leather. A few minor marks to the boards. Cloth to the joints is fraying a little. Rear hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot, including to the folding maps.
