Prior owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. The book previously belonged to John Hewetson. With a sixteen-page catalogue of publisher's adverts to the rear. In the publisher's original green cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. The cloth is discoloured to the bottom edge of the front board. Lightly rubbed to the boards, more so to the spine, which is bumped to the head and tail. Internally, generally firmly bound, with a little strain at pages 80 to 81, and pages 96 to 97.
