This work is a historical romance based on the marriage between King Philip of Spain and Queen Mary Tudor of England. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just a little rubbing to the gilt lettering to the spine and faint marks to the front board of Vol II. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for spotting to the first and last couple of pages. Small holes to the paste down and front free end paper of Vol I, to the front free end paper of Vol II.
