Prior owner's bookplate to the front paste down. The book previously belonged to 'Constance C. Lacon Beard, Worcestershire&apos. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper, 'W. Jouies. High St. Bridgnorth. In a debossed green cloth binding. Externally, smart. Very lightly rubbed to the boards and the spine. With four tiny chips in the cloth to both the head and tail of the spine. The front and rear hinges are starting, but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound, with the gutter visible between pages 80 and 81. Aside from some light foxing to the front and the rear of the volume, pages are generally bright and clean.
