Garnett was an award winning English writer and publisher of the twentieth century. He received the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for 'Lady into Fox' (1922). He was a prominent member of the Bloomsbury Group. Illustrated with six wood engravings by David Garnett's wife, Ray Garnett. Collated, complete. In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and light bumping to the extremities. There is some light spotting to the fore edge. The dust wrapper is slightly worn to the extremities with some small closed tears and creases, and some age toning. Internally, firmly bound.
