Including an impartial account of the English Civil War.Coke is best remembered today for this work. In a rebacked half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, boards are rubbed. Spine label is a little worn. Boards are lightly discoloured. Minor bumping to the extremities. Ink inscription to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean with a few scattered spots. Closed tear to page 131/132 of James I. Volume II lacking the title page. Very Good . Ill.: None. Very Good .
