This work, and the other two volumes, express Hyde's own views of the Royalist strategies used during the Civil War. The frontispiece is present but loose and with an engraved title page, also with the half title and index to the rear. Collated, complete. In hardback binding. Externally, very worn. The spine is mostly missing with small parts remaining to the tail. Leather is gone from the front board and coming away from the rear board and significantly marked. Front board is just attached by the threads. Frontispiece is loose and the first few pages are creased and loosening from the binding. Pages are generally firmly bound.
