Some of his most popular works include 'The Village' and 'The Borough.'  In uniform full calf bindings with titles in gilt to morocco spine labels, intricate gilt tooling to spine, renewed plain endpapers, gilt to edges. Externally very smart with light shelf wear only, label to spine vol. II only lightly lifting, gently chipped to head and tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound.
