Written by John Richard Jefferies, an English nature writer, noted for his depiction of English rural life in essays, books of natural history, and novels. In the original half vellum with paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and bumping to the extremities. A few marks to the front board. Vellum slightly discoloured as is usual.
