Bellegarde was a Jesuit for fifteen years before joining Francis de Sales's order. In a full calf binding. Externally, worn, with rubbing to the boards and spine, and loss to the front joint, rear joint, and tail of the spine. Minor bumping to the extremities. Light marks to the boards. Tail of the spine is lifting a little. Front hinge is starting but firm. Pencil annotation to the front free, which is lifting to the tail. Ink notes to the rear endpaper. Internally, firmly bound.
