Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette (1873-1954), known simply as Colette, was a French author, best known for her 1944 novella Gigi. In this sequel to 'The Vagabond', Colette explores the metaphorical shackle you find yourself in when you fall in love, unable to extract oneself emotionally. In publisher's original cloth binding, with original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is in very smart condition except for a little fading to the spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with just a little spotting to the fore edge.
