Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper, reads 'Emily Clements Marchant, with Mrs Robert Moore's affectionate remembrances. Val Plaisant, Island of Jersey. May 26th 1832&apos. No author given. Rebacked in brown calf with the original marbled calf boards. Externally, very smart. With some light wear and bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Aside from a cluster of pages between 176 - 189, which are rather foxed, pages are generally just a little age-toned with the occasional mark. Very Good .
