This tale explains how Savage had already shown his evil tendencies by not attempting church on the Sabbath, which was illegal at the time. Savage was executed twice, the first attempt to kill him being unsuccessful, thus shocking everyone when he suddenly started breathing once more. In a full rebacked calf binding. Externally, generally smart, with minor marks to the boards. Light bumping to the extremities. Minor rubbing to the extremities. A small amount of wear to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age-toned with the occasional spot. Pages are a little closely cropped to the tail, only affecting the signatures.
