Collated, lacking one page, page xi. All plates are present.Twenty-four pages of adverts to the rear. In a quarter straight grain morocco binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, worn. Loss to the head of the spine. Minor bumping to the extremities. Two torn labels to the spine. Light rubbing to the boards and spine, and a few minor marks. Front hinge is starting but firm. Loss of paper to the rear paste down. Internally, generally firmly bound, pages 63 to 68 are detaching. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with scattered spots. Loss to the head of the title page. Faint tide marks to the frontispiece. Discolouration to the gutter between the frontispiece and title page. Frontispiece is adhered to the front paste down.
