Clara de Chatelain (1807-1876) was a prolific writer; her books of fairy tales included 140 original tales and 50 retellings of classic fairy tales. Undated, dated through copies held at HathiTrust Digital Library. In a quarter cloth binding with pictorial boards. Externally sound, though soiled to the boards and spine. Front joint is splitting.
