Plesch was a Hungarian financer, banker and lawyer with a large collection of rare and important botanical books, with particular reference to medical botany and the botany of Hungary. The library was considered not only magnificent from a bibliographical point of view but also as a working library for a botanical garden. With a pamphlet of estimates inserted into the third volume. In the original paper covered boards. Externally, smart with some shelf wear to the edges. Spines are faded. Light marks to the boards. Some bumping to the upper rear board of volume two.
