But i am generally so late that I fear it will interfere with your going home. D. Lothair was the first novel Disraeli wrote after his first term as Prime Minister. The novel deals with the merits of the Catholic and Anglican churches as heirs of Judaism and was hugely popular at the time of publication. Sixth edition copies. With thirty two pages of adverts to volume one. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart. Rear joint is starting to the first vol with some splitting to the spine. Bumping to the head and tails of the spines.
