In this volume, the former Governor of Victoria describes their travels around the Mediterranean before expanding on their voyage to the West Indies, Venezuela, Jamaica, and the Bahamas, and their later passage to Canada. The book includes an account of when ex- Prime Minister William Gladstone accompanied the couple on a cruise to Scandinavia following his resignation in 1895. In the publisher's original blue cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Lightly rubbed to the spine and the boards. The spine and the back joint are discoloured. Internally, firmly bound.
