In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with some spotting to the boards. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, with small cracks to the head and tail of the front joint, and a repaired crack to the head of the rear joint. Light marks to the boards, including a red mark to the rear board. Hinges are starting but firm. Internally, gutta percha binding is perishing, with a few pages detaching.
