In the original quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, rear board detached but present. Front board may detach with further handling, backstrip detached from the spine and is attached to the front board. Discolouration and marks to the boards and spine, with a small tide mark to the front board. Small crack to the front joint. Spine label is rubbed and discoloured. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Prior owner's ink inscription to the front paste down. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some scattered spots. Title page is torn and detaching to the head. Tide mark to the margin of the frontispiece. Aged tape to the gutter between the frontispiece and title page, and to the pages, and to the front hinge, to the front paste down and facing advert. Good Only . Ill.: Not Stated. Good Only .
