Each plate is accompanied with lovely verses by the likes of Aird, Bloomfield, Crabbe, Baillie, and others. Myles Birket Foster was a famous Victorian illustrator and watercolourist. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally sound with shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound.
