Ink inscription from previous owner to the list of plates. In a half calf binding. Externally, a trifle rubbed with some rubbing to the extremities and marks to the boards. Number sticker to the front board. Hinges strained but still firm. Discoloration to the edges of the paste-downs and free endpapers. Sticker to the lower rear paste-down. Loss to the free endpapers, with the front free endpaper loosening. Internally lacking pages 455-458, and the plate on page 457, but otherwise firmly bound. Pages age-toned with spotting throughout. Heavy discoloration to the plates. Staining to the frontispiece, Ink inscription from previous owner to the list of plates. With small closed tear to the list of plates.
