Eckel in his 1913 publication 'The First Editions of the Writings of Charles Dickens&apos.Illustrated with a frontispiece, engraved title page, and thirty-eight plates. In a half morocco binding with marbled paper to the boards, with new endpapers. Externally, smart. Light rubbing to the joints and extremities. Light marks and discolouration to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very lightly age-toned and generally clean with the occasional spot, age-toning and spots heavier to the plates, frontispiece and title page more heavier spotted.
