It is uncertain precisely when Rowlandson made these illustrations, but 1797-8 is a probable date. With nine plates for the cavalry and a further seventy seven for the various volunteers including Sadler's Sharp Shooters, Marylebone Volunteers and the uniform for the Guildhall Volunteer Association. Collated, complete. Scarce in the slipcase. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. In the original slipcase which is also excellent. Fine .
