In adulthood, Hall often went by the name John, rather than Marguerite. This is a scarce collection of her poetry, with a particular focus on the counties of Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, including the poems Dusk in the Lane, The Ledbury Road, The Malvern Hills, Eastnor Churchyard and Casend Hill.
