The first volume explores Churches of Monks and Canons, requirements of Mediaeval Churches and walls and arches. The second volume explores doorways and porches, lighting, towers and spires.Both volumes are richly illustrated throughout the text with diagrams, photographs and illustrations. Both are in the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light bumping to the head and tail of the spines and some light marks to the boards. Previous owner inscription to both front free endpapers. Front hinge of volume one is starting but remains firm. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Very Good Indeed .
