Between 1916 and 1917, the British police charged Douglas for the sexual assault of 3 boys. According to Cecil Woolf's bibliography of Douglas there are 4 different bindings to the first edition. This is variant iii. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with a little rubbing to the boards. Spine a little discoloured and bumped, with some small tears to the head of the spine and a little loss to the tail. Minor wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound.
