Detailing the various methods of distributing artificial heat, and their effects on animal and vegetable physiology. Including an overview of the laws of radiant and conducted heat and the chemical constitution of coal. Complete with the half title page and four pages of the publisher's advertisements to the front of the book. In full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light shelf wear to the extremities. Marks to the boards. Staining to the upper rear board. Bumping to the spine. Chipping to the upper spine.
