Jeffrey Farnol was a prolific British author of romance novels, often set during the Georgian Era or the English Regency period, a precursor of the Regency romantic genre. The present copy is a beautiful first edition of this novel The Money Moon, a lovely tale following American millionaire George Bellow on a quest to find himself, when he meets a little boy named George Porgy seeking to make a fortune to solve his auntie Anthea's probles; Bellow tells him of dragons and fair princesses, and of the legend of the Money Moon. Featuring a coloured title page and frontispiece, as well as twenty-one further full page plates by Arthur I. Keller. Collated, complete.  In the original publisher's decorative cloth binding with colourful illustration to front board. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, light bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities. Minor loss to outer margin to p. 381, not affecting text, due to rough cut to fore edge.
