Beattie also looks at the history of the country and its people.Illustrated with an engraved title page, and ninety-four plates, by W. H. Bartlett, T. Allom, and others.Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library.Collated, bound without one plate 'Aberdeen, From Above the Chain Bridge&apos. In a half morocco binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, generally smart. Spine and rear joint are faded. Light rubbing to the extremities. Two very small cracks to the rear joint. Some minor marks to the boards and spine, mostly to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with some spots, mostly to the plates.
