He was the first international best-selling author of fiction from what is now Canada. In 1856, he immigrated to England, where he served as a Conservative M.P. Rebound in a half calf binding. Externally in excellent condition, with just a little fading to the spines and upper extremities. Colour is otherwise good. Internally, firmly bound.
