Complete in two volumes, a new edition, sixieme mille. In the original French. The Saint Helena journals of Gaspard Gourgaud, following his journey to the island to stay with Napoleon in exile. Gourgaud was much in contention with Napoleon's other companions, Las Cases and Montholon, which led to him leaving the island in 1818.These journals were written in private by Gourgaud as a result of his conversations with Napoleon between June 1815 and March 1818.
