In full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some shelf wear to the edges and a few closed tears to the top and bottom of the spine. Hinges are starting but firm. A few light marks to the paste-downs and free endpapers. Binder's label to the rear paste-down of volume one. Bookseller's label to the rear paste-down of volume two. Internally, volume one is firmly bound but with some creasing to the binding throughout. Binding is weak in volume two, with pages 17 to 30 loosening.
