Many of the writings first appeared in periodicals such as the 'Midland Sunbeam' and the 'New York Family Story Paper. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some shelf wear to the edges and bumping to the spine. Spine is darkened, as well as the board edges. Some marks to the rear board. Staining to the paste-downs and free endpapers. Internally, binding slightly strained but still firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with a few occasional marks and some age-toning to the edges.
