Helen Beauclerk (1892-1969) wrote fantasy novels. After Edmund Dulac separated from his wife in 1924, he lived with Beauclerk until his death in 1953. Dulac frequently used her as a model for his illustrations, and also illustrated her novel The Love of the Foolish Angel. In publisher's original cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just a little wear to the head and tail of the spine. A small loss to the spine label, not affecting the text, and a scattering of tiny stains to the spine.
