In half calf binding with marbled boards. Externally, rubbing to the heads and tails of the spines, joints, and extremities, resulting in some loss to the leather at the to the heads of the spines. Bumping to the extremities, resulting in some loss to the paper on the boards. Some wear to the spine labels, spine label to Volume V is lacking, partial loss to spine labels on Volumes III, VI, IX, and X. Previous owners' bookplates to the front pastedown of each volume.
