Kelly's Directories were trade directories in England that listed all businesses and tradespeople in a particular city or town, as well as a general directory of postal addresses of local gentry, landowners, charities, and other facilities. They are now an important source for historical research. 58 pages of fascinating advertisements to the rear. In publisher's original cloth binding. Externally sound, with only minor wear to the extremities and head and tail of the spine, but there is silverfish damage and some small stains to both boards and spine. Spine is also slightly sunned. Internally, firmly bound. Some losses to the front paste down, front free end paper and title page due to silverfish damage. Pages generally clean except for the odd spot to the first and last few pages, and to the leaves surrounding the folded map. Folded map has large closed tear. Good . Ill.: Kelly's Directories.
