A. W. From the Ascott House library, owned by the de Rothschild family. The library was created following the conversion of the billiards room in 1936 and was predominantly filled with books collected by Anthony de Rothschild. In Hatchard signed half calf binding. Externally, there is some discolouration to the leather on the boards. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound.
